A Clock that works only using a oscillator and logic gates and counters.
This was for an event to showcase a project that represent the 2nd year Electrical students. I was asked to do something the represented what we learned from our courses. I chose to focus on Logic. I started working on the project and it took me two weeks to design the general logic and counters connections. I assembled them as well. I added a few additional supplementary complements along with the Logic-only clock. This was to better represent what I learned from programming and electrical circuits.
I added a stepper motor with a paper that has a clock drawn on it. This setup made the stepper a Digital Brain/Analog Display Clock. I included an Arduino as the brain and lights to show things working on the logic side. The result was a project that represented Circuits, Logic, and Programming.
